Section 1B
Terms For Subdomains & Site Add-Ons
URL names are assigned on a first come first served basis. If the name you would like to use in the URL is to identify a person, artist or brand within your company, then there is a higher chance that the name will be approved. Some examples of names that will not qualify are: admin, services, shop, events, info, terms, privacy, store, about, a celebrity’s name, national brand or other words that may appear to be a service provided by SILISPRO.
Subdomains on our Professional Plan appear as name.yourdomain.com or www.yourdomain.com/name and much like our Standard Hosting plan you will be enrolled as the site’s Administrator Account.
Some examples of a subdomain on a Professional Account are events.yourdomain.com for a site that only promotes events for your company, or shop.yourdomain.com for a site that sells your products online. All login information is sent to the primary account holder, and it will be up to the primary account holder to distribute and assign access to their additional site. FTP access can be set up upon request after your affiliate site is live if needed. Add-On domains appear as yourwebsite.com. They will never display an association with silispro or any of our affiliate sites in your URL. You are welcome to request a subdomain for your add-on URL if within your plan’s hosting limit for subdomains.
The primary account holder has the option to edit, cancel or suspend access to any of their additional websites at any time for any reason, even if the additional website is managed by someone else. Please coordinate with your team to prevent any kind of service interruption on your affiliate account. Any request from an affiliate to terminate the primary account holder’s account, will be denied. All users are still required to adhere to the Terms & Conditions appearing on this page are are subject to approval depending on the name of the URL and the type of content that will be displayed.
Access to any additional website can be transferred to the primary account holder when an account is closed and will be given the option to keep or cancel the additional site at that time. If there is no action taken after 30 days of cancellation, then the additional account and all content appearing on that URL will be permanently deleted. Please note that all content will still be removed and un-linked from our servers after 30 days if the add-on site was for a custom domain. A blank error page may be displayed on your domain until you update your name servers again with your domain’s registrar service.
